Our collections feature a wide range of ethnic wear for every Indian festival and special occasion — from traditional Pattu Pavadai and Sattai to Pattu frocks and gowns, Kerala Kasavu sets, Madurai Sungudi cotton frocks, and much more.

Founder’s Story – Monisha Palanisamy
Every great brand begins with a heartfelt story and for Monisha Palanisamy, that story is woven with tradition, love, and purpose.
An MBA graduate specializing in Marketing and Human Resources, Monisha started her career as an HR professional in a reputed MNC. Yet, amid the corporate routine, her heart longed for something more meaningful something that connected her back to her roots.
Born into a family with deep ties to the traditional textile industry, Monisha grew up surrounded by the beauty of Indian weaves and craftsmanship. Drawing inspiration from her heritage, she envisioned a space where Indian ethnicity meets childhood innocence creating timeless pieces for little ones that carry the essence of tradition in every thread.
In March 2020, she turned that vision into reality by founding Amutham Fashions, lovingly named after her mother, Amutha, whose grace and strength continue to inspire her every day.
What began as a small Instagram store has now blossomed into a trusted ethnic kidswear brand, with over 117K followers and the love of thousands of happy moms across India.
For Monisha, Amutham Fashions is more than just clothing it’s a celebration of culture, comfort, and craftsmanship. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to bring the rich heritage of Indian ethnicity into every little one’s wardrobe, one beautiful outfit at a time.
Co-Founder’s Story – Satish Kumar
Every successful venture thrives on shared vision and belief and for Satish Kumar, that belief began at home.
A B.Tech graduate in Chemical Engineering with a strong background in software, Satish’s journey took a new turn after marriage when he witnessed the passion and dedication his wife, Monisha, poured into building Amutham Fashions. He was deeply inspired by the trust, authenticity, and quality that defined her creations and the love the brand received from mothers across India.
Believing in her vision and the potential to grow further, Satish decided to join hands with Monisha not just as a partner in life, but as a co-founder in purpose. With his strategic and technical expertise, he helped scale Amutham Fashions from a small online store for girl kids up to 3 years into a full-fledged physical brand, now offering ethnic collections for both boys and girls up to 10 years from designer outfits to comfortable ready-to-wear styles.
Together, Monisha and Satish continue to nurture Amutham Fashions with the same passion and values it began with to make it a trusted name in kids’ ethnic fashion, where every piece tells a story of love, culture, and craftsmanship.
